Parent, Family & Community Engagement

BY JENNIFER HEPINSTALL

PARENT FAMILY COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

July marked the beginning of a new program year at MSEHS, and we're excited about the opportunities ahead for families to connect with our program, each other, and the community!

Parent Connect returns on Thursday, September 10 in Coeur d'Alene. Join us on the second Thursday of each month (rotating between our centers) from

10:00–11:30 a.m. to connect with other parents, learn something new, and share your ideas and feedback to help shape our program. Watch for Parent Connect flyers from your home visitor. You can sign up through them or contact Jennifer, PFCE Specialist, at 208-415-8811.

This fall, we're offering an 8-week Circle of Security Parenting class from September 16–November 4 at our Sandpoint Center. Caregivers will learn practical tools to better understand their child's needs, strengthen relationships, and support healthy emotional development and secure attachment. Free childcare and snacks are provided for enrolled MSEHS families.

We also continue to offer playgroups at all four of our centers. If you're not currently attending and would like to learn more, talk with your home visitor about scheduling a playgroup orientation with one of our Playgroup Coordinators.

We hope you'll join us at one or more of these events—we look forward to connecting with you throughout the year! If you have ideas for future classes or events, please reach out to Jennifer. Your feedback matters to us and helps us create opportunities that are meaningful for our families.
